We value the voice of children across all spheres of life, so we encourage you check out this to give voice to our WA kids.

Children and young people have the right to play, and their views can help shape better play opportunities across Western Australia.
Play Matters Collective and the Commissioner for Children and Young People are gathering input to support the development of the WA Play Strategy.
As part of the consultation, we are inviting children and young people to share how they experience play in their daily lives.
There are two surveys available:
Early childhood and primary school children aged 3 to 12 years:

Schools are encouraged to share the surveys so a broad range of voices from across WA can be heard.

Intergenerational Ministry is about intentionally creating opportunities for different generations to connect, share faith, and grow together. It moves beyond running separate programs to exploring how all ages can meaningfully engage with one another within the life of the corps.

In this webinar, we’ll introduce the key ideas of Intergenerational Ministry, clarify what it is, and just as importantly, what it isn’t, while exploring some simple ways this approach could support your engagement with children and families.

This session is designed to give you a starting point, offering practical insights and space to reflect on what this might look like in your own context.

What an incredible initiative ❤️ meeting community needs, one bag at a time, one life at a time with the love of Jesus.

1 in 6 children in Kwinana are facing food insecurity every weekend. 👦🧒

To combat this, the Kwinana Salvos have started Munchie Mates, an initiative to ensure students have access to food. 🍎

Each Thursday backpacks of food are prepared for the students and taken to the school. Every Friday the bags are given to the children the school has identified. On Tuesday the bags are returned to be filled again. 🛍️

Each bag contains about $14 worth of food including cereal, milk, fruit, muesli bars, chips, noodles, spaghetti, baked beans, jelly, juice and snacks. 🍱

Any help with goods or financial support would be greatly appreciated so that we can continue supporting the most vulnerable in our community.

Kids Camp 2026 was truly an incredible experience!
With over 60 kids and leaders from across WA, we came together to explore the inspiring story of Daniel, learning what it means to be brave, trust God, and follow Jesus in everyday life.

From games and challenges to new friendships and unforgettable moments, it was a weekend full of joy, growth, and plenty of fun.

Kids Camp is the place to be—to grow, belong, and explore faith together.
