Primary Youth Group is back on tonight!!
From 6-7:30pm at Rockingham Church of Christ. Remember to invite a friend!

For families with high school aged children, we also have a High School Youth Group that will run from 7-9pm also at Rockingham Church of Christ (previously St George's Hall).

Can't wait to see everyone there! 🥳

Water Activity Day tomorrow!

Friday January 20th from 10am-1pm at Rockingham Church of Christ on the Cnr of Frederick Street and Rae Road.

There will be a slip 'n' slide, water games and a sausage sizzle!
Bring a towel, bathers, and sunscreen.

This is also an opportunity to bring friends to share the fun and introduce them to Primary Youth before term 1 starts!

It was so great to start a new term with this bunch of kids again. We had a lot of fun with dodge, musical chairs, tag, and a kind of hot potato game - the kids had a blast!

We also loved learning about Jesus, and how He takes our place - by taking the punishment that was meant for us, because of our sin, when He died on the cross.

It was great to welcome a new boy along tonight, and seeing some old faces return.

I can’t explain this, other than God made it happen.

I had made this video of our RCC PYG concert last year. And just before I was going to upload it, I accidentally deleted it!!

I tried to recover it, but it just wasn’t happening...it was really sad and I felt like I’d let all the parents and kids down 😔

Anyway...today I was making another video, and as I had finished editing for the day, I went back to the main page. And... There was the video I had lost, just sitting there.

I still thought it had gone, and only the cover was there, but I pressed play anyway.

To my absolute surprise, it played!!!! And I was able to upload it!!!!

So, it’s a bit late...but it’s here now, and I’m so pleased and thankful to God!

Another great night at RCC PYG! To begin with, we thought there was only going to be 3 children...but ended up with a gang of 14 🤗

Good games, good food, good fun, and good truth!

Tonight Em gave a great recap - finding out Who Jesus Must Be if He has power over absolutely everything - He must be God!

And what a great God He is!! One who loves us so much that He was willing to take the punishment our sins deserve, so that we can be forgiven and have eternal life (if we turn to Him in faith and trust).

We had another great night at RCC PYG tonight with 19 children. 2 were first comers, and we hope to see them again next week!

We played games that involved listening carefully, linking with the theme of Jesus healing the deaf man. Pauline was a great team leader of the game “people lawn bowls” (the children were the bowls 😅) and Kerry was great at listening for “in the river and out the river”

Tonight we learnt about how Jesus has power over deafness - the power to make someone HEAR properly.

But the real question for the kids is: have you LISTENED to the message of Jesus properly... and are you responding to it, by putting your trust in Him?

In our first week of RCC PYG, we learnt how Jesus has power over sickness, through the Bible story of Jesus healing a man who had leprosy.

We had a few games that involved spots (representing the disease of leprosy).

Here are some of the children that got covered with dots. You probably can’t see it too well, but their faces probably had the most spots on them. The kids had fun applying the spots to their friends 😆
