Alhamdulillah, IPDC Queensland successfully hosted the Community Leaders Iftar and Quran Competition Final Prize Giving Ceremony at the Australian Centre for Unity, Slacks Creek.

The event brought together faith leaders, government representatives, law enforcement, community organisations, and local residents for an evening of reflection, unity, and partnership.
We were honoured by the presence of distinguished guests including:

The evening also celebrated the 9-year journey of the IPDC Quran Competition, an initiative dedicated to nurturing young hearts through the love and understanding of the Qur’an. We congratulate all participants, parents, teachers, and winners who continue to inspire our community through their dedication to the Qur’an.

We sincerely acknowledge the leadership of IPDC President Engr. Aminul Islam, the welcome address by Dr. Akram Hossain, and the Vote of Thanks delivered by Dr. Zakaria Amin. We are also grateful for the continued guidance of CP Dr. Mohammad Moniruzzaman.

A heartfelt appreciation goes to our generous sponsors, the IPDC Media Division (Tashfeen and Al Mamun), the IPDC Women Division, all volunteers and organisers, and the participants and families of the Quran Competition. Your dedication and service made this event truly successful.

Events like this strengthen the bond between communities and institutions, reflecting the true spirit of Ramadan — compassion, unity, and service to society.

The IPDC Qur’an Competition – Selection Round was held yesterday at the Gold Coast Mosque with beautiful participation and spirit. We are pleased to share that the students in this photo have qualified for the FINAL round, in shā’ Allāh.

A special appreciation to all participants — every child who took part is a winner for standing with the Qur’an. May Allah ﷻ reward their efforts, encourage them to continue this noble journey, and place barakah in their learning.

🌟 IPDC QLD Youth Camp | Gold Coast 🌟

Alhamdulillah, IPDC QLD successfully conducted a 3-day Youth Camp from 5–7 December at the Gold Coast Recreation Centre with around 25 young brothers.

The camp included soccer, team-building activities, site visits, and spiritual lectures, fostering brotherhood, leadership, and personal growth.

We were honoured by the presence of IPDC President Dr. Moniruzzaman (from Melbourne). Engineer Aminul Islam, IPDC QLD President, facilitated the program, with coordination by Dr. Humayun Kabir, Engineer Sameen (YMB IPDC QLD President), Tashfeen, Zayed and Rahat.

The program concluded with a prize-giving ceremony, followed by a closing lecture and final dua by Dr. Habibullah.

🤲 May Allah ﷻ accept everyone’s efforts and place barakah in this initiative.

This year, IPDC Central has introduced the Best Unit Award to recognise outstanding contributions to the community.

Alhamdulillah, from Queensland, both Inala and Slacks Creek Units have been selected as the Best Units for their dedicated work and inspiring leadership.

A heartfelt congratulations to the leadership team, volunteers, and community members who have worked tirelessly throughout the year.
