Quite often in aged care, when someone loses their spouse, they can find themselves feeling alone, isolated and vulnerable. Sadly, not every aged care facility has access to regular chaplaincy and pastoral care services.
This is where Clergy On Call steps in. ❤️
A couple of years ago, we had the privilege of officiating this special lady’s husband’s funeral service. Today, at the request of her family, it was a privilege to return and spend time with her, providing pastoral care, encouragement, companionship and support. For us, ministry doesn’t end when the funeral service is over. We believe in walking alongside people and families through all seasons of life. We are honoured to walk alongside families during these deeply personal moments, helping them honour a loved one’s life and memories with dignity, care and compassion.
