Missed Vision Night this last Sunday? No worries! Read up on the church's vision for 2022 here: www.nlicc.net/blog/2022/01/23/vision-night-2022

What’s our church’s vision for 2022? We look to John 1:1-18 to unpack the chiasm and find our vision for this year.

We're back! From Sunday, 31st October, our four congregations are returning to meet in-person at our respective buildings. Here's how we're planning to keep you safe:

✅ One person per four square metres
✅ No singing during service with the exception of worship team
✅ Checking in and out of building upon entry and exit
✅ We ask all congregants wear a mask when indoors and regularly sanitise

You're also welcome to our first in-person Family and Friends Day 3PM service at North Strathfield church, followed by a picnic at one of our beautiful local parks. Invite your beloved friends and fam, and don't forget to bring a picnic mat. See you then and stay safe!

Do you feel like you've lost sense of who you truly are? Find your identity in Christ.

One of human’s greatest fears is to lose one’s identity. But God has given us the most important identity - children of God.

This life is full of painfulness and brokenness. This seems more true for our world than ever before (or at least in our lifetime). But like in Joseph's story, God is able to make all things work for the good of those who love him. Read how here.

This life is full of painfulness and brokenness. Yet like in Joseph’s story, God can use it all for good.

It's not what we do that matters but why we do it. This is the Secret Service that Jesus calls us toward.

The focus of this week’s sermon is Secret Service which is based on Matthew 6:1-6; 16-18. Jesus teaches us that it’s not just about what we do that matters but why we do it.

For some Christian communities, today is a celebration of the Feast of Transfiguration. A day to honour the transfiguration of Jesus. As captured in the Gospels, Jesus - after predicting his upcoming death - takes three of his disciples to the top of a mountain. Here, God transfigures Jesus, showing him in his full glory shining "like the sun." Yet as David Matthis writes, "the Transfiguration was not the stripping away of Jesus’s humanity to somehow see him in his divinity. It was a foretaste of his glorious human body to come after the resurrection when he ascended to his Father’s right hand." How glorious is our Saviour, and the future of His people who will one day be redeemed and restored to our former glory. So we mark today as a day of hope for believers; we look forward to the impending spectacular glory that awaits when Jesus returns.
