‼️URGENT COVID 19 ANNOUNCEMENT‼️

Dear community members,
Two community members who attended the Wandana Mosque for prayer have tested positive for COVID and more are expected.
In accordance with government regulations, the Wandana Mosque men’s area is an exposure site for the following dates and times.
Friday 24th December- Jummah Prayer
If you have been to the mosque during this prayer time, the below SA Health link will help determine if you are a close or casual contact and provide instructions on testing and quarantine.

At the present time majority of congregation is considered low risk casual contact, however the positive cases have been advised to inform those who they think could be close contacts.
If other community members begin to test positive, we advise you to please do the same.
The Islamic Society urges anyone with symptoms to please isolate and get tested immediately, and to please refrain from coming to the mosque if you present with cold or flu symptoms.

Protecting the wider community, ourselves and our most vulnerable is essential during this pandemic.
We urge all mosque attendees to QR code check-in, wear mask, socially distance and get vaccinated.
