just picture it for a moment, it's 27 April, 2009 - two of the coolest fellas in the world and their tag-along, criminal mate are about the bless the televisual airwaves for the first time, and inalterably change the course of history forever.

Cuisine will never be the same, as 50 young hopefuls, step up to the plate and give it their all. You can't believe your eyes - they're actually doing it, they might actually find and crown Australia's one true Masterchef.

Of course, everything is different now, and the old guard has been replaced with three gronks - a huge overhaul of Masterchef's original 2:1 gronk ratio, but the legacy of the OG legends (+ one loser) lives on, and these new gronks are trying their hardest to present some downright hard yakka true blue honest television. God bless you, Masterchef, and god bless you all, except George Calombaris.
