I wonder how we can adapt this idea?

Anyone can leave fresh food, such as fruits, vegetables, bread, or prepared meals, and anyone in need can take what they require, no questions asked.
The idea is simple but powerful: fight food waste while ensuring that no one in the community goes hungry. It operates on trust, kindness, and the belief that sharing surplus food benefits everyone. Many fridges are open 24/7, making them a lifeline for people facing food insecurity, shift workers, or those simply short on groceries.
These fridges also strengthen neighborhoods, encouraging people to connect, give back, and rethink how they use food. By redistributing surplus from homes, restaurants, and markets, they not only reduce landfill waste but also promote compassion and dignity.
