🕊️ In Loving Memory

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear Brother Lou (also known as Brother Walker / Kevin Walker) this afternoon.

We give thanks to God for his life, his faith, and the love he shared so generously with our community.

“Each Brother is a message written not with ink,
but in the Spirit of the living God,
with a faithful human heart to carry it.”
– Edmund Rice

We ask all parishioners to please keep Brother Lou and his family in your prayers during this time.

🕯️ May his soul rest in the peace of Christ.

✝️Lent has begun — a special time of reflection, prayer, and renewal.

Many people choose to “give something up” during Lent as a way of making space for God and growing in faith. It might be a favourite treat, a habit, or even setting aside more time for prayer, kindness, or helping others.

We’d love to hear from you:
**What are you giving up (or taking up) this Lent?**

Feel free to share in the comments and encourage one another as we journey through these 40 days together. Let’s support each other in making this a meaningful and grace-filled season. 🕊️

Lent is a gentle invitation to pause, reflect, and return to what matters most.

Over these 40 days, may we take time to slow down, pray more deeply, show kindness generously, and let go of the things that weigh on our hearts. It’s not about being perfect — it’s about making space for hope, renewal, and love to grow.

May this season bring you peace, clarity, and many small moments of grace. ✨🕊️
