For all members of the Anglican Community Fr. Neville Nixon has passed away. His funeral will take place at The Church of Ascension, 706 Wynnum Road, Morningside at 10.00 am Friday 29 May 2026. Refreshments in our Parish Centre Hall after the service.
Fr. Nixon was a former Priest at our Church of Ascension for 30 years and was the founder of Anglican Aid Abroad whilst a young Priest at Gin Gin. All are welcome to attend.

Next year 2025 our Church will be celebrating our Centennial Celebration. As we are currently compiling a list of of people who have had a connection with this Church please contact this page if you’re interested. The date for our special celebration is Sunday 1st June 2025 and we will have a new stained glass window blessed on that day also.
