🙏 SUNDAY WORSHIP – 9:00 AM
📍 Mountain Creek State School

This Sunday's Message:
“God Is Sovereign Over All Nations and Rulers”

📖 Isaiah 45:1–7 | Matthew 22:15–22 | Psalm 99

God is Lord over all creation, including nations, governments and everyday life. Through the example of King Cyrus, we are reminded that God can accomplish His purposes even through those who do not acknowledge Him.

MINISTERS’ RETREAT

Last week, Rev. Dr. Hedley Fihaki attended the Ministers’ Retreat at Mt Tamborine. Bishop Glenn Davies led the Bible studies, while Bishop Garry Nelson shared insights on discipleship from his experience of training Christian leaders in over 30 countries.

🙏 Celebrating the Ordination of Pastors ‘Atunaisa and Leki

Yesterday was a wonderful occasion as we celebrated the ordination of ‘Atunaisa Fe’ao and Leki Crichton as Deacons in the Church of God, serving as Pastors of Siaila Faith Church and Faith Church Brisbane. The service was conducted by Bishop Glenn Davies. We give thanks to God for His faithfulness and pray for His continued blessings upon their ministries.

📖 This Week’s Devotion – “The God Who Changes His Mind!” (Exodus 32:14)

When Israel turned away from God and worshipped the golden calf, Moses interceded on their behalf, and God listened and relented. This remarkable passage reminds us that God invites us into a living, personal relationship with Him. Our prayers matter because God hears and responds!

☕ Ministry Centre & Faith Coffee Lounge Update

Our project is progressing well, with much of the painting completed. We are awaiting the installation of bifold doors and working through Council's food licence requirements, including the ceiling and sink arrangements. These additional requirements will increase our costs, and any financial assistance would be greatly appreciated. We are now hoping to open towards the end of October.

Thank you for your continued prayers, practical help and financial support.

“You don’t have to prove yourself!”
This Sunday we reflect on Paul’s words in Philippians 3:8: “I consider everything a loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord.” Our worth is not something we have to earn or prove—life is God’s gift to us in Christ.

Our Ministry Centre and Faith Coffee Lounge continues to take shape! A big thank you to Ed and Stacey for beginning the painting this week. The first coat is finished, we continue discussions with Sunshine Coast Council regarding our food licence, and the bifold doors should be installed this week. Thank you for your continued prayers and financial support.

Coming up: Next Saturday, 10 October at 10:30 a.m., we celebrate the ordination of Pastors Atunaisa and Leki at Village Community Church, 1 The Village Ave, Coopers Plains, followed by lunch. All are welcome!

🎂 Happy Birthday this week to:
Lou Silingardi – 5 October
Harold Strong – 8 October

May God richly bless you both in the year ahead
