Surya Grahan information. Monday September 22, 2025 (Solar Eclipse)
There will be rare crescent sunrise solar eclipse in the early hours of Monday September 22, 2025. This eclipse will be primarily visible mainly from parts of Antarctica, New Zealand, and some South Pacific islands in the South Pacific Ocean. In Australia, Eclipse would not be visible in Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, People in Sydney will get to see it for 5 minutes from 5.45am -5.50am. (So sutak applies.)
Across the Pacific Islands, the eclipse can be seen from Fiji Samoa, Tonga Cook Islands and Vanuatu
None of the eclipse would be visible from India, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Afghanistan, UAE and other Asian countries, most parts of Africa, Europe, North America and South America.
A solar eclipse happens when the Moon moves between the Earth and the Sun, blocking some of the sunlight. In a partial eclipse, the Moon covers only part of the Sun while in a total eclipse, the Sun is fully hidden.
Navratri in Melbourne will start from Monday 22nd September.

यह ग्रहण मुख्य रूप से अंटार्कटिका, न्यूजीलैंड के कुछ हिस्सों और दक्षिण प्रशांत महासागर में कुछ दक्षिण प्रशांत द्वीपों से दिखाई देगा। ऑस्ट्रेलिया में मेलबर्न, ब्रिस्बेन, कैनबरा, एडिलेड में ग्रहण दिखाई नहीं देगा, सिडनी में लोगों को सुबह 5.45 बजे से 5.50 बजे तक 5 मिनट के लिए ग्रहण देखने को मिलेगा। (इसलिए सूतक लागू होता है।
प्रशांत द्वीप समूह में, ग्रहण को फिजी समोआ, टोंगा कुक द्वीप समूह और वानुअतु से देखा जा सकता है
भारत, श्रीलंका, नेपाल, अफगानिस्तान, संयुक्त अरब अमीरात और अन्य एशियाई देशों, अफ्रीका के अधिकांश हिस्सों, यूरोप, उत्तरी अमेरिका और दक्षिण अमेरिका से कोई भी ग्रहण दिखाई नहीं देगा।
सूर्य ग्रहण तब होता है जब चंद्रमा पृथ्वी और सूर्य के बीच घूमता है, जिससे सूर्य का प्रकाश कुछ अवरुद्ध हो जाता है। आंशिक ग्रहण में, चंद्रमा सूर्य के केवल एक हिस्से को कवर करता है जबकि पूर्ण ग्रहण में, सूर्य पूरी तरह से छिप जाता है।
