8.13pm and we have nearly finished for the day. Craig was on the road at 4.30am making it a nearly 16 hour day for him. Trace and Kelly just left and we are all go for tomorrow. Today wow, 7 pallets of produce went out the door today along with over 2000 pantry items. 3 pallets of macca’s burger buns ( we have more tomorrow ) not to mention the steak, catering bags of dumplings, and all the other frozens and coolroom items. 32 new sign ups, 18 of them via referrals and 5 domestic violence referrals and deliveries. We delivered to 5 different suburbs. It was busy and we can’t thank the team enough for their time today, they physically didn’t stop. A huge shout out to our 80 year old superman Laurie who sorted all the produce himself. This man amazes us everyday. If you would like to come and help Laurie please do, we promise he doesn’t bite. Our new founded partnership from the very generous farmers saw Craig late this afternoon pick up yet another pallet of mixed produce. Thank you to our clients who saw us run off our feet and brought food and drink. You don’t know how much we appreciate your kindness. There goes another Thursday, sleep tight everyone.💜
