Part 2: The Martyrdom of our Master, the Great Companion & Khalifah Uthman ibn Affan - may Allah be pleased with him
In the Name of Allah, the Most Compassionate, the Most Merciful
All praise is due to Allah, Lord of the Worlds. May blessings and peace be upon the noblest of Prophets and Messengers, our Master, our Prophet, and our Beloved Muhammad, and upon his family, his companions, and all those who follow them in excellence until the Day of Judgment.
To proceed:
The day commemorating the martyrdom of the oppressed martyr, our Master, the Rightly Guided Caliph, Sayyiduna Uthman ibn Affan (may Allah be pleased with him and grant him His pleasure), is one of the unforgettable days in the history of our Muslim Ummah. On that day, the purest and most God-fearing person on earth in his time, without dispute, was martyred at the hands of the esoteric sectarians (Bātiniyyah), the Saba’iyyah, and the sons and descendants of the Magians. That year was even referred to as the “Year of Sorrow,” as related to us by our master, Saʿīd ibn al-Musayyib.
May Allah have mercy upon the oppressed martyr, the Martyr of the Qur’an, the one given glad tidings of Paradise, the beloved of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the husband of two of his daughters (may Allah be pleased with them all).
---
Al-Fātiḥah for the soul of our master and leader, the third Caliph of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ; the husband of his two daughters; the one promised Paradise; among the earliest to embrace Islam; the provider and outfitter of the Army of Hardship; the possessor of modesty and faith; the Possessor of the Two Lights (Dhū al-Nūrayn); the oppressed martyr, the Martyr of the Qur’an and of Islam; the one who sacrificed his own life to prevent the shedding of the blood of the noble Companions of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the righteous people of Madinah during the siege laid by the people of darkness from among the Bātiniyyah and the Saba’iyyah; the beloved of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, Abū ʿAbdullāh, our Master Uthman ibn Affan ibn Abī al-ʿĀṣ al-Umawī al-Qurashī (may Allah be pleased with him and grant him His pleasure).
أعوذ بالله من الشيطان الرجيم

صدق الله العظيم .
May Allah send His blessings, peace, and grace upon our Master, our Prophet, and our Beloved Muhammad, and upon all his family and companions.
