GBAB Go Beyond all Borders

After 20 incredible years, the time has come for Go Beyond All Borders to close this chapter.

What started as a simple desire to make a difference has grown into something far beyond what we ever imagined. Together, we’ve witnessed lives changed, communities strengthened, and hope extended across borders.

Over the past two decades, with the support of our amazing community, we’ve been able to:

✨ Sponsor 200+ children, supporting their education, food supply and wellbeing.
✨ Deliver 2,000+ hampers of hope, locally and internationally
✨ Lead 30+ trips, with more than 180 people choosing to go beyond their own borders to love and serve vulnerable communities
✨ Support 10 university students through their studies
✨ Partner with and support 3 schools in slum communities
✨ Distribute 100 clean water filter buckets to families in need
✨ Fund an emergency hand surgery that changed a life forever
+ so much more.

While Go Beyond All Borders is winding down, the impact remains. Every sponsorship, donation, trip, prayer, act of service, and word of encouragement has helped write this story.

To every volunteer, supporter, sponsor, donor, traveller, partner, and friend: thank you! Your generosity and belief in this mission made all of this possible.

Though this chapter is coming to a close, the lives touched and relationships built will continue for years to come.

Provide 100 ‘Hampers of Hope’ for Mums from the local slum worth $6,000

Make a $5,800 food donation for Huruma Children’s Home

Support Jamii School in the 2nd largest slum in the world with a $750 Donation

Contribute to the Opblue water Filtration Program, giving fresh clean water to remote places throughout Kenya, with a $750 Donation

So proud to represent ‘Go Beyond all Borders’ at the Opblue Gala Event last night.

A few years ago Jack Wilson came on a GBAB trip to Kenya, where he was hugely impacted by the needs of the people.

Fast forward to today, Jack is the Founder of a Charity and is making a huge difference with the Opblue water filtration, education and welfare programs within many communities in Kenya.

What a year and what a difference your support of GBAB has made.

During 2023…

-8 people traveled to Huruma Children’s Home to meet, serve and be inspired by the Huruma Children and Staff.
-230 Hampers of Hope were sourced locally, packed and provided to support women and families in need.
-Alex, who GBAB has been supporting through a Special Needs Teaching course at university has completed the course.
-GBAB continues to sponspor 25 children from Huruma, giving each child the opportunity to be educated, have 3 cooked meals a day and receive appropriate health care.
-We will continue to support Zakayo through his technical course at university
