Excellent company.

Coffee hit the spot.

While we love the morning tea, it’s gathering around Jesus and his Word that keeps us coming back. ❤️

We are very excited to announce that John Young will be joining our team in July. As an assistant minister, John will help grow our capacity to serve our community.
We are looking forward to welcoming him along with Kristen and Caitlin into our church family.

Yesterday we farewelled the Young family after 22 years of faithful service among us. 🤍
We gathered together for a combined service in Lithgow, followed by a BBQ lunch, to give thanks to God for the ministry of the Young family, and to pray for them as they begin a new chapter.

While we will miss them greatly, we rejoice that they will continue serving God’s people at Hilda’s, Katoomba. Please join us in thanking God for them, and in praying for them as they settle into their new church family.
“We always thank God for all of you and continually remember you in our prayers.” (1 Thessalonians 1:2)

Yesterday we farewelled the Young family after 22 years of faithful service among us. 🤍

One particularly special moment came during the kids’ talk. As is customary, the children were invited to come to the front- but this time, Mark also invited the “kids” who had been taught, encouraged, and ministered to by John and Kris over the many years.
What followed was remarkable, as adults, teenagers, and children alike came forward, filling the space at the front of the church. It was a moving reminder of the countless lives that have been touched through the Young family’s faithful service and gospel ministry over the past 22 years. 🩷
