With the Voice referendum, I have felt that as indigenous people have occupied this land for at least 60000 (more likely 74,000), and white settlement occurred just 250 years ago, a yes vote was essential to right an atrocious wrong that occurred with occupation.

Having now read the 26-page Uluru statement (and I do recommend you read it Anthony Albanese), the one thing the indigenous leaders across the country agreed on was that a meaningful ‘voice to parliament’, ‘treaty’ and ‘truth telling’ be established.

It seems to me the referendum is the start. I agree there is little known about whether it will be meaningful or not, but for me, I couldn’t vote no.

Margaret Court holds the record for having won the greatest number of grand slam titles in the world (for men or women) with 64 titles - 24 of which were singles titles. No one and nothing she says will ever take that away from her. By comparison Roger Federer has won 20 singles titles and Rod Laver has won 11.
She deserves the highest award Australia has to offer. The name of Margaret Court arena should never be changed.
She has out dated ideas in other areas of her life but so what.
Daniel Andrews views on alcohol -(not drinking a beer but some top shelf stuff) is very offensive to people struggling with alcohol addiction and reformed alcoholics but they don’t get up in arms about it.
He should pull his head in on his offensive comments (that he’s sick of talking about that woman every summer) about the worlds greatest tennis play. And allow her the position in history she has earned.

After seeing the abuse that was perpetrated and covered up by the Catholic church in Australia for decades, some of which has been revealed by the royal commission, and fhe ABC series Revelation, its time the Australian Government, and staye governments took action against this institution.
