This evening at 7.30pm we hope to hold our "New Year" service.

Matthew Hyde, Pastor at Jireh Chapel in Lewes, is expected to preach.

As the work on the chapel is still ongoing, and as Haynes Mission Hall is unavailable tomorrow, we are hoping to gather with the church at Westoning Baptist Church for their services tomorrow. We are grateful to the church there for accommodating us. All are welcome to join there at 11am and 6pm.

As the chapel is currently being redecorated and is full of scaffolding, for the next few weeks (if the Lord will) we will generally be meeting for worship in Haynes Mission Hall at our usual times (Preaching Services at 1100 and 1430 on Lord's Days, and our prayer meeting at 1930 on Wednesdays). Thank you to the Haynes Mission Hall.

The exception to that rule is Sunday 26th October, when the Mission Hall is unavailable and we hope to meet at Clifton Chapel (56 Broad Street, Clifton) at 1045 and 1430. Marcus Burgess is expected to preach on that day. Thank you to the church there.

If the Lord will, Charles Warboys from Oakington Baptist Chapel will preach at our Anniversary Service on Thursday 16th October at 7.30pm.

This year marks 192 years since a Baptist Church was formed in Haynes in September 1833; 91 years since the present chapel was built; and 5 years since the re-formation of the church in October 2020. All are welcome to join us as we give thanks to God.

There will be no prayer meeting on Wednesday 15th.

We are hoping to hold a service on Good Friday morning at 10am. This will be taken by our pastor, Peter Wilkins.

If the Lord will, we hope to hold a Thanksgiving service at the commencement of the Pastorate of Peter Wilkins at Ebenezer Haynes on Saturday 11th January at 2pm.

It is anticipated that the seating capacity in the chapel will be exceeded, so a live video link will be available in the local village hall for those that cannot be seated within the chapel building.

All are welcome to join us for refreshments in the village hall after the service. It would be helpful if you could let us know if you are hoping to join with us, so we have an idea of numbers.

If the Lord will, this Wednesday 14th February, Graham Chewter will be giving an update on the work of the Trinitarian Bible Society (TBS) at 7.30pm. This will be followed by a book sale. Collection will be taken for the TBS .

All are warmly invited to join with us.

Our new year service takes place, God willing, on Thursday 4th January at 7.30pm where Edmund Buss is engaged to preach. A warm welcome is extended to all.

There will be no prayer meeting on Wednesday 3rd January.

A very warm welcome is extended for all to join with us on Christmas morning at 10am for a special Christmas service. We will be singing carols and hearing the message of Christmas.
