Who is Jesus?

It's perhaps the most important question anyone could ever ask.
And how you answer it changes everything.

This Sunday, we're starting a new sermon series called Face to Face with Jesus, as we journey through chapters 5–10 of John's Gospel.

Over the coming weeks, we'll see Jesus heal the sick, feed the hungry, give sight to the blind, and make some extraordinary claims about who he is.

Our invitation is to come as you are this Sunday to meet Jesus for yourself.

We are so thankful to God to share that as of today, Bec James has started her role as Kids Pastor at St Marks!

Bec is passionate empowering and serving alongside kids leaders to see the little members of our church be transformed by Jesus.

With her husband Cody and their four young ones, the James' family will be interviewed at all gatherings this coming Sunday.

Here's a taste of what it was like on Sunday as 6 young members of church shared how Jesus has transformed their lives.

Church was filled with joy as they were confirmed through the laying on of hands and reaffirming their baptism promises.

If you're keen to hear more about what Jesus offers, you are welcome every Sunday at St Marks.

Last night 6 members of our church were confirmed, reaffirming that their baptism promises made as infants are true for them today.

It was a powerful moment to hear each person publicly commit to following Jesus all the days of their life.

‘One generation commends your works to another; they tell of your mighty acts.’
Psalm 145:4

It's easy to think that the bible is old and irrelevant to our lives.

But when you open it and read it, even in strange parts, you start to see the bigness of God's story and how it impacts our lives today.

Join us this Sunday (+ bring your own physical bible if you have one) as we open up the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel.

'What is God's plan for my life?' is right up there with the most commonly asked questions.

We're going to spend the next 6 weeks learning from the Old Testament book of 1 Samuel. As we journey through Samuel birth to his old age we will see how God is always at work.

When we feel lost, when we feel ordinary, when life doesn't pan out as we had planned it, God has a plan.
