Dover Community Church in Dover, Tasmania is a Christian congregation serving the Dover community and engaging with others in their Christian journey. The Church's priority is to teach from the Bible and to follow the example of Jesus. All are welcome to attend Sunday service and meet after service for refreshments. The Dover Community Church was opened in May 1877. The architect of the church was

Henry Hunter, who later designed many churches in Tasmania, including St David's Cathedral in Hobart. Originally, the Community Church was named "All Saints" and was designed as a "Bethel" where all protestant faiths could workshop. It later became the Congregational Church. In the late 1970's, members of the Congregational Churches in the Huon Valley elected to remain independent and not join the Unity Church, and the name changed to "Community Church", to reflect the nature of that fellowship of people of different protestant faiths to workshop together. The church Secretary is Mrs Dorothy Crocker Email [email protected]
