Marist Youth Ministry (MYM) is looking for a Regional Assistant, Western Australia to join our team, based in Churchlands, Western Australia.

In this role, you’ll:
✨ Plan and facilitate youth ministry programs and events across Marist schools.
✨ Support the growth of the Young Marist network across Western Australia.
✨ Help share our story through MYM’s social media and communications.

At MYM, our mission is simple but powerful:
To make Jesus Christ known and loved among young people aged 12–25, helping them grow as lifelong disciples in the way of Mary and Saint Marcellin Champagnat.

Hey ya'll, we are keen to kick off this year's volunteering opportunities for previous and new volunteers!

Next Thursday on the 30th of March we will be having a volunteer training evening including a zoom call from the one and only, Edwin Bakker, to go through child safeguarding.

This event will be held in the chapel ministry space at Newman College and all who are keen are welcome to come out for a drink afterwards! 😆🍻

Marist Youth Ministry rounded out the year with the Year 11 & 12 students of St Joseph’s School Northam, Bunbury Catholic College & Newman College with our last connect night for this year! Providing students to learn more about St Marcellin Champagnat’s development into the leading figure of the Marist Brothers that we know today and how we can apply that to our own lives by looking back at the joyful times in life.

Last Tuesday, Marist Youth Ministry held its third Connect Night for the year at Bunbury Catholic College. Students were given the opportunity to explore their vocation and to learn strategies to help them discern their vocation and hear the call that is sent by God to everyone. Students were also given the opportunity to hear from post school students and staff about their own vocation and life journeys. A big thank you goes out to the staff and students at Bunbury Catholic College for their hospitality on a night that was enjoyed by all!
