Hey Everyone,

Bit of a swap around this week! Instead of our planned Outside Ball Game Night, we are now having a combined Bonfire Night 🔥

🕡 Starts: 6:45pm
🕣 Finishes: 8:30pm

Please wear enclosed shoes and bring a torch. We’ll be making pizzas, hanging around the fire, and having a chilled-out night together.

💰 Gold coin entry.

🕔 Leaving Expansion Church at 5:00pm
🕙 Returning approx. 9:45–10:00pm

🍔 Dinner stop at McDonald’s Traveston (bring cash or your own food)

We’re also excited to introduce a new option for our Year 11 & 12s — an optional hang during youth. You’ll still meet and sign in as normal, then head off to hang with Jono and the team.

Hey Expansion Youth! 🎉

This Friday night is our last youth group for Term 1 and we’re going out with some Easter fun ✝️🐣🍫
Come along for games, an Easter message about Jesus, chocolates, hot cross buns and more.

Before Youth Group:

Boys Group starts at 5:00 pm
Girls Dance Group meets at the same time
If you’re coming to these earlier groups, please bring an extra gold coin for dinner beforehand.

🕣 Finishes at 8:30 pm

✨ Extra Events & Info:

Girls Group Break-Up: Monday, 3:30–5:30 pm at the church for more Easter fun
Even though youth group won’t be meeting over Easter, church is still on Sundays at 9:30 am—we’d love to see you there! Lots of youth come along and it’s always a great time
Our youth leaders are already planning Term 2, and we’ve got some exciting announcements coming on Friday night… 👀

📍 Gympie Ten Pin Bowling
⏰ 6:00pm – 8:00pm
💲 $12 per game

👉 Drop-off & pick-up at the bowling alley (NOT the church)
👉 Bring money for games + food

👥 Get into groups of 6–8 (aim for 8!) and start games quickly

⚠️ Stay with the group, follow leader instructions & be a great example in the Gympie community
