SUBMIT TO GOD
James 4:7 "Therefore submit to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you."

We are living in a world where the forces we're fighting against are spirits we cannot see them. And It is impossible to win such a battle. But the good news is that we have someone whose name is Jesus on our side, who is a Spirit and more powerful than those unseen forces.

Since He knows their weaknesses, He has given us 2 steps to win:
Submit to him and Resist the devil. He wants us to trust Him to fight for us by submitting to him and determine to follow Him through by resisting the fear of losing. The battle is winnable if you can only trust Jesus and quench all fears bewitching you. Amen.

A PATH TO GROWTH

1 Peter 2:1-3
Therefore, laying aside all malice, all deceit, hypocrisy, envy, and all evil speaking, 2 as newborn babes, desire the pure milk of the word, that you may grow thereby, 3 if indeed you have tasted that the Lord is gracious.

Growth is giving and taking. You give up all the old and take in the new. V. 1 of the text is exposing to us all the old we should give up. And the next verse, however, encourages us after we have given up the old we should desire pure milk which is the word of God. Christian faith is an organism that has life. Every life grows. You're not the same as you were born because there is life in you. And every stage of growth has its struggling. So your struggle is leading to the growth you need in life. Because "no cross no crown. You only grow if you have tested the goodness of the Lord and if He becomes your priority. Amen.

DIVINE POWER

2 Peter 1:2 "Grace and peace be multiplied to you in the knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord, as His divine power has given to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue."

Believers are living in the grace dispensation. And where there is the grace of God, the peace of God is ultimately established. Therefore, the early church was using them as a slogan to greet one another. But not just a slogan of greeting, we must also grow in that grace through knowledge of God and Jesus our Lord. By His given divine power that does help us in all things about life to discover the will of God. Which are holiness and freedom from sin and worries.

God has given you all that it takes in life to walk in His glory by the virtue you're called. He made every provision for your breakthrough before you were even born. But it is up to you to seize it to establish your peace. And now it's your moment so don't miss it. Amen.

LOOKING UNTO JESUS

Hebrews 12:2 "Looking unto Jesus, the author, and finisher of our faith, who for the joy that was set before Him endured the cross, despising the shame and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."

Life circumstances normally turn off our focus in different directions than where we ought to look. But the best way to succeed in every spectrum is a consistent focus on what you believe. You believed in because someone had already exceeded to meet your expectation as a model for you.

In this journey of faith, no one has done so well then Jesus to become your model. He has already gone through every challenge you're facing and beyond. For your sake, He did it with joy even on the cross. Your shame, guilt, and failures are led on Him and He is forever before the throne of God presenting you perfect and complete. With Christ, you are better than what you think. Amen.
