TODAY'S PRAYER-
Heavenly Father,
Today we come before You with heavy hearts. There is so much evil, pain, and suffering happening all around the world. In our own towns, across our nation, and in countries far away, people are fighting for their lives, grieving unimaginable loss, and watching loved ones suffer. Lord, our hearts break for them.
Father, we pray that every person who is hurting would come to know Your love, Your peace, and Your saving grace. No matter what their circumstances look like, we ask that You would surround them with Your presence, protect them, strengthen them, and remind them that they are never beyond Your reach.
Your Word reminds us that this world is only temporary, and our hope is found in You alone.
"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal." — 2 Corinthians 4:18
Lord, help us as Your people to persevere through these difficult times. Give us courage to stand firm in our faith, boldness to speak Your truth with love, and strength to endure whatever comes our way. Help us to have thick skin when we face opposition, yet never lose a tender heart for those who are hurting.
Teach us to remain in constant prayer, to trust You in every season, and to be thankful in all circumstances, knowing that You are always with us. You have promised that You will never leave us nor forsake us.
Give us eyes to see what You are doing and ears to hear Your voice. Keep us from becoming distracted, discouraged, or overcome by fear. Instead, help us to fix our eyes on Jesus and walk faithfully each day.
Father, we especially pray for those who need You most. May they cry out to You in the middle of their pain. Intervene in their situations, reveal Yourself to them in powerful ways, turn their hearts toward You, and let many come to salvation through Jesus Christ.
Help us to be lights in a dark world, sharing hope, love, and truth wherever You have placed us. May we never grow weary in doing good, but continue to trust that You are working even when we cannot see it.
We pray all of this in the mighty and powerful name of Jesus.
