Pray for our new friend James🙏🏻
On Saturday, as we headed into Glasgow I saw a vision of a very specific location where I felt God was leading us to. When I said the location to my friend, there was a contention, however as I advocated it was where I believe God was leading us, my friend respectfully conceded.
While walking from the car, I had a feeling we sent there for one specific person. The area was quiet, doubts were creeping in, people walked past but I had not gotten the go ahead to talk someone. I kept praying and waiting…
Then, suddenly, I saw a man struggling on a wheelchair. Instantly I knew he was the man the we were to speak to. I simply said “has anyone told you that Jesus loves you today?” He stopped and began to say how hard life has been for him. He was at the end of himself.
We proceeded to share the gospel with him and then found out he had been a heavy substance user. I was able to share my testimony of being healed of all addiction through Christ. I could sense God’s presence and love as we shared. Then as we prayed, he felt the love of God and had tears coming from his eyes…
After this, I felt we needed to take him into town to get him some food and a drink. As we were pushing him on the wheelchair we went to go one way to a food place but he said please don’t go that way because people there will tempt him to use substances. We thought it was good he was already feeling convicted to distance himself from those things.
It was honestly a blessing to sit with him and share the love of God. It’s so beautiful that God would choose to send us to someone to share Christ with them.
Everyday, Christ wants to send us places and through us impact other peoples lives bringing them into reconciliation to God.
“So we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making His appeal through us; we [as Christ’s representatives] plead with you on behalf of Christ to be reconciled to God.”
2 Corinthians 5:20 AMP
