Yesterday, it was a great joy to gather together as God's people and hear from Genesis 15, where we saw that God's promises are totally sure. Our Creche and Sunday School kids also had fun trying to count the stars and remembering that God's promise to Abraham came true!

As we read through the Old Testament, we quickly come across intense violence and even genocide which has been commanded by God. How can we reconcile this with a loving God and what does it mean for us today? You're invited to our Annual Public Lecture.

Join us for a talk by lecturer and bible scholar Nathan Lovell, followed by an open Q&A where no question is off-limits.

Come wrestle honestly with the big questions of life, faith, and meaning, and stay afterwards for light refreshments.April 17th 7.30PM - 8.45PM at 10 Greenwood St, Wishart. This event is free with no need to register.

We had such a great time last weekend celebrating the great news of Easter and we get to do this every week at St John's! This Sunday at 9AM we're going to be looking at the difference that the resurrection of Jesus makes for us from 1 Corinthians 15.
