Beloved Lucy Moawad has departed this earthly life and entered the everlasting embrace of our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ.

Wife of the late Botros Moawad, Mother of Marian and George Moawad, Mother in Law of Marcos Awad and Christine Moawad, Grandmother to Maria, Luke and Clara.

The family will receive condolences on Wednesday, 10th June from 7pm at
St. Mary & St. Merkorious Coptic Orthodox Church 2 Cavell Ave, Rhodes.

Funeral on Thursday, 11th June 11am at St Mary & St Mina Coptic Orthodox Cathedral. 339 Forest Rd, Bexley.

Our beloved Congregation,
It is really out of place for the angels to rejoice over our salvation and for us who have been saved not to rejoice and with the angels keep this salvation, as world - saving feast.

The Resurrection of Christ is the renewal of human nature, the recreation of the human race and the living of eschatological reality.
May the Risen Christ grant you these gifts.

Let us invite Him from the coldness of the manger; into the warmth of our homes... to bless & sanctify them.

Let us welcome Him from the loneliness of the manger; into the unity of our families... binding us in His perfect love.

Let us receive Him from the lowliness of the manger; into the depths of our hearts... raising them to become His heavenly dwelling place.

May the grace of the Holy Nativity fill your homes with peace, your lives with hope, & your hearts with divine love.
