The Kerala Hindu Society Bendigo (KHSB) was established in 2017 to promote the spiritual and moral well-being of Hindu families in and around Bendigo. KHSB became an incorporated charitable organization in December 2019, with the vision of “Sanatana Dharma”. This vision signifies the set of duties or religiously ordained practices that are incumbent upon all Hindus, regardless of class, cast, or s
ection. The virtues of Sanatana Dharma include honesty, purity, goodwill, mercy, patience, self-restraint, generosity and asceticism. KHSB also facilitates a group named Ekta, which focuses on spreading Hindu values and culture to the next generation. The organization believes in spreading positivity and kindness among people and plays a vital role in supporting communities through blood donations and raising funds to support CFA and homeless people. Even during the Covid pandemic, KHSB continued to support the community through online meetings and Bhajans to ensure the well-being of its members. KHSB welcomes people from all walks of life to join our festivals and celebrations and is part of the Australian community. KHSB aims to nurture and spread the Hindu way of living, facilitate humanity and positivity towards others, and promote unity and cooperation among all Australians for their prosperity.
