York Street MOPS MOPS Mum’s Connect. Runs once a fortnight at Yorkstreet Church of Christ Ballarat in the school terms. New Mums are always welcome.

A fun relaxed morning for mums, with food, coffee and childcare available for preschool children Our MOPS group provides a caring and accepting atmosphere for mothers and young children, where mums have the opportunity for “time out” to develop friendships, share concerns and have meaningful discussion. A typical meeting involves catching up with other mums, listening to a guest speaker on a mothe

ring issue, spending time in discussion groups, sharing morning tea and occasionally a craft. During the MOPS sessions the children are cared for on the premises in the MOPPETS program. MOPPET carers are volunteers from York Street Church of Christ who provide a loving, learning environment for the children. MOPS meets during school terms –

Wednesdays (fortnightly) from 9.15am – 11.30am). Cost is $7 each session

Term 1 - Feb 8th & 22nd, March 8th & 22nd
Term 2 - April 26th, May 10th & 24th, June 7th & 21st
Term 3 - July 26th, August 9th & 23rd, Sept 6th & 20th

Does anyone have a small playpen for sale (not too expensive) or one that can be borrowed for a grandchild for a short time? If you could let me know I can pass the info onto the lady asking. 🙂

Welcome to 2020 from us here at York Street Mops

We have some exciting plans for the year at York Street to continue to support each other in this fun but sometimes challenging journey we are on as Mums.

This year we are opening up our mornings to not just Mums of preschoolers but welcoming back Mums with Primary School aged kids as that can also be an isolating time. The important things stay the same, community, coffee, morning tea and dedicated child care for our preschool kids

We hope you can join us on our first session back on Wednesday the 12th of February

Hi ladies, just a heads up, one of our little tackers from the toddler room started showing signs of hand foot and mouth yesterday afternoon. So if you had a bub in that room you might like to keep an eye out for temp or rashes. Hoping everyone keeps well and it doesn't spread xx

Join the team from York Street who together are aiming to raise funds to give access to clean drinking water to those in need, if you are not able to go without your drinks of choice you can still be a part of it by donating

At MOPS we celebrate all mums!
MOPS is for mums of children aged 0-6 years and those who are pregnant.

It's a time to take a breath and have some me time.

The programs for you are full of fun, guest speakers, creative activities, morning tea and chatting with other mums going through the same stages as you and your family. Your kids, if you bring them, are cared for in an adjoining room by volunteer carers who want to give you a break while you enjoy 2 hours of child-free time.
