Celebrating the Spirit of Gargi!

It was an immense honour and privilege for the HCA SA Chapter to host the Gargi Awards 2026 in Adelaide, celebrating extraordinary women in Australia whose leadership, service, talent, and achievements continue to inspire our communities and future generations. The awards honour women across fields including arts, science, journalism, education, community service, and sport.

Named after Gargi Vachaknavi , one of ancient India's most revered philosophers, the Gargi Awards recognise women who embody courage, wisdom, excellence, and a commitment to making a positive difference in society. The weekend was a celebration of inspiring stories, remarkable accomplishments, and the incredible contribution of women who are shaping a stronger, more inclusive Australia.

Award presentation got started after those meaningful speeches. Congratulations to all the top Finalists & deserving winners!

What an incredible afternoon at the HCA Meet & Greet - 2026! ๐ŸŽ‰

A huge thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a success. The session was packed with valuable insights, meaningful conversations, and great networking opportunities for new migrants, students and families in South Australia.

๐Ÿ‘ Devarshi Desai from Studynash delivered an engaging and practical presentation on the common mistakes new migrants make and how to avoid them, covering networking, career growth, workplace culture, and migration planning.

๐ŸŽ“ Adhyayan Verma from Titanium Tutoring provided an outstanding roadmap to the Australian education system, explaining scholarships, SACE, ATAR pathways, university admissions, and medical career opportunities in a simple and highly informative way.
