***no monthly gathering tonight***

Hey friends and family!

As you know, there’s been a lot of change around Activate and our gatherings this year!

We’ve been trialling a new monthly gathering at Church of the Trinity and it’s been a beautiful opportunity to worship together, and it’s even brought some new faces into our community (if this is you, hi, it’s been so lovely to connect!)

Unfortunately, however, even this new less frequent model of doing gatherings has turned out to not be sustainable for our current levels of volunteer capacity.

Even though it won’t be an option to continue these regular monthly gatherings, there’s still ways we can stay connected. Activate has always been more than a Sunday church service!

For those who are looking for a regular worshipping community, and would like support to navigate finding a regular affirming church community, in a safe and supported way, we’d love to visit some with you. We’re looking to host a monthly visit together to a few different affirming churches in Adelaide – please let us know if you’d like to come along with us!

We’ll also be part of a Rainbow Church Service for Feast Festival on Sunday 17th November – we'll share details closer to the date and would love to see you there!

Finally, this by no means is an end to the love and friendships that have been formed during the time Activate has been a community. This is a space that has always been more than a Sunday gathering, and we don’t expect that will change now.

Hey friends and family!
We’re back – the Activate Church you know and love will be hosting monthly gatherings; and we’d love you to join us!

For those who love Jesus and justice, are looking for an affirming service, or just want to know what we’re all about – Activate is the place to be!

Please join us for our first monthly gathering on Sunday 16 June and spread the word!

5.00pm Sunday 16th June
318 Goodwood Road, Clarence Park (hosted at the Church of the Trinity)
Monthly gathering with communion, followed by refreshments

Upcoming dates:

- Sunday July 14th (2nd Sunday of the month)
- Sunday August 25th (4th Sunday of the month)
- Sunday September 15th (3rd Sunday of the month)
- Sunday October 27th (4th Sunday of the month)

We have some flexibility on dates for November and December, so we will determine based on the first few gatherings and other key events around that time whether we will go with the 3rd or 4th Sunday of the month for these dates.
Continuing into 2025, we will be able to secure a regular booking on the 3rd Sunday of the month (the venue has a few existing bookings over the next few months that we’ve needed to fit around).

One last week of church in the q***r bar, we invite everyone to come along at 10:30 this Sunday.

Activate Church will be holding its last service out of Adelaide’s q***r nightclub, My Lover Cindi, this Sunday.

What is happening at Activate this Easter?

We are hosting a two part Easter Series this year. Join us tomorrow for an interactive, self paced exploration of some of the events of "Holy Week", the days leading up to the crucifixion of Jesus. We will share in Hot Cross Buns afterward.

Then return to My Lover Cindi on Easter Sunday to celebrate the renewal of the resurrection.

10:30 AM each morning, at 192 Pirie Street, Adelaide.
