Living Water, Eternal Life
Gospel - Sung
Gospel - 3rd Sunday of Lent
John 4:5-42
Date - 08-03-2026

At Jacob’s well, at noonday bright,
The weary Lord sat down in light.
A woman came with jar in hand,
And met the Christ by God’s command.

Living water, flowing free,
Spring of life eternally.
Spirit and truth, our hearts adore,
Savior of the world, forevermore.

“Give me a drink,” the Master said,
She marveled that a Jew would beg.
He spoke of gifts the Father gives,
A stream that heals, a spring that lives.

“No mountain high, no temple stone,
The hour has come, the truth is known.
The Father seeks the ones who pray,
In Spirit’s light, in truth’s pure way.”

She left her jar, her thirst was gone,
And told the town what Christ had done.
They came to hear, they came to see,
And found the Lord, the world’s Redeemer be.

Love Beyond Measure
Saturday of the First Week of Lent
Gospel - Matthew 5:43-48
Date - 28-02-2026

You have heard it said before,
Love your neighbor, hate your foe.
But the Lord has shown the way,
Love your enemies and pray.

Love beyond measure, mercy untold,
Children of Heaven, radiant and bold.
Sunlight and rainfall, gifts from above,
Perfect in the Father, perfect in love.

If you love the ones you know,
What reward does Heaven show?
Even sinners do the same,
Christ calls us to higher flame.

Greet the stranger, bless the poor,
Open wide the heart’s own door.
For the Father’s love is true,
Shining equally on you.

TEMPTATION OF JESUS
INSPIRED BY THE GOSPEL OF FIRST SUNDAY OF LENT YEAR - A
GOSPEL - Matthew 4:1-11
Date - 22-02-2026

In the desert, hungry, waiting,
Christ stood firm, His heart was true.
“Bread alone will never save you,
God’s own Word will see you through.”

Word of God, our strength, our song,
We will trust You all life long.
Only the Lord shall we adore,
Serve Him alone, forevermore!

On the temple’s height He answered,
“Do not test the Lord above.
Faith is stronger than the trial,
Held secure by endless love.”

Kingdoms shining, power offered,
Christ declared with holy flame:
“Bow to God, and Him forever,
Honor only His great Name.”

Follow Me!
Based on the Gospel 21st Saturday 2026
Luke 5:27-32

Levi sat at the table of gain,
Counting coins, the weight of shame.
Jesus came, His voice so free,
“Leave it all, come follow Me.”

Follow Me, I’ll make you new,
Mercy’s calling, breaking through.
Not the righteous, but the lost I seek,
Healing hearts, the humble and weak.

A banquet filled with sinners and friends,
Grace was poured, love knows no end.
Pharisees questioned, “Why would He dine?”
But Jesus said, “This mission is mine.”

The sick need a healer, the broken need light,
He came for the sinner, to set wrongs right.
No burden too heavy, no soul too far,
His mercy shines brighter than any star.

When the Bridegroom Is With Us
Inspired by the Gospel of the Day
Date - 20-02-2026
Gospel - Matthew 9:14-15

Why should we fast when joy is near,
The Bridegroom walks with us in cheer?
His presence fills our hearts with song,
His love sustains, His grace is strong.

O Lord, You are the Bridegroom true,
Our hearts rejoice in being with You.
When You are gone, our souls shall weep,
But in Your promise, hope we keep.

The day will come, the hour will fall,
When silence reigns, and shadows call.
Then fasting hearts will lift their cry,
Awaiting dawn when You draw nigh.

Through trials deep, through nights of pain,
We wait for You, our joy to gain.
The feast shall come, the tears shall cease,
In Your embrace, eternal peace.

Take Up Your Cross and Follow Me
Inspiration - Gospel of the Day - 19-02-2026 -
Gospel - Luke 9:22-25

The Son of Man must walk the way,
Rejected, scorned, and slain;
Yet on the third day He shall rise,
Eternal life to gain.

Take up your cross and follow me,
Deny yourself, be free;
For those who lose their life for Christ
Shall find eternity.

What profit is the world’s acclaim,
If soul is lost to sin?
The Kingdom waits for hearts made pure,
For Christ shall dwell within.

O Lord, we walk the narrow path,
Your cross our daily guide;
In weakness, strength, in sorrow, joy,
With You we shall abide.

18/02/2026

Inspired by today's Gospel 18th February 2026,
Mathew 6:1-6, 16-18

Take care, O child of heaven,
Do not seek the world’s acclaim;
Give your alms in quiet mercy,
Let no trumpet sound your name.
For the Father sees in secret,
And His love will be your crown;
Hidden deeds of grace and kindness
Shall be treasures handed down.

Chorus
Father who sees in secret,
Hear the prayer we raise to You;
In the silence of our hearts,
Make our spirits pure and true.

When you pray, go to your chamber,
Close the door and bow the knee;
Not for praise of men around you,
But for God who waits unseen.
In the stillness, He will answer,
In His presence you will rest;
Hidden prayers of faith and longing
Bring His peace within your breast.

When you fast, let joy surround you,
Wash your face, anoint your head;
Not with gloom to court attention,
But with gladness daily spread.
For the Father sees in secret,
He will bless the hidden way;
Sacrifice in love remembered
Shines with light of Easter Day.
