WATCHMAN CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL MOVEMENT FIRST FRUIT FASTING FELLOWSHIP JUNE 2026 - Day 1
Theme: BASKING IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS CHRIST Texts: Heb.12:22,24; 13:20-21; 1Jn.5:8; Rev.12:10-11
As we arrive at the 6th month of the year in the era of reaping in righteousness and divine remembrance, it is essential that light is thrown on an unrivalled weapon available to the believer, to tackle the escalating operations of the powers of darkness who know that their time is short.
It is therefore incumbent upon every child of God to get himself acquainted with the workings of the Blood of Jesus Christ, so as to employ the services with insightful confidence.
It is often said that knowledge is power, and power begets confidence (Jn.8:32; Dan.11:32; Prov.10:16, 18:11; 1Sam.17:23-26).
Our message shall come under the following sub-sections:
BLOOD SHEDDING: The Meeting of God’s Demand for Justice
BLOOD OF SPRINKLING: The Voice of Expression of Divine Satisfaction
Breaking Through with the Blood of Jesus Christ.
Topic: BLOOD SHEDDING: THE MEETING OF GOD’S DEMAND FOR
JUSTICE
Subtexts: Heb. 9:19-22,27-28
The blood of Jesus is not a worship theme or a phrase used to build canticles that God loves. It is not a metaphor but a legal currency in heaven which nothing in the natural or spiritual realms can challenge. It is the token/medium
of the most binding agreement that exists in any realm. It is a legal multi- dimensional force that both heaven and hell respect.
However, vague understanding will always produce vague result, while precise understanding of what the blood purchased, yields peace and verifiable results in the now.
The creation as revealed in the scripture is like a divine symphony: the intricate expression of divine wisdom in which exists times and seasons, types (or figures) and antitypes (typified); patterns and principles all interwoven in a matrix, different dispensations emerging and exiting with passage of time; all left for the wise to discover and appropriate (Deut. 29:29; Pro. 25:2; Eccl. 8:17; 11:5; Jn.14:26; 1Jn. 2:20,27).
To appreciate our topic, we will need to look at the nature of God and the place of justice.
Before the creation, the All-knowing God had foreseen the fall of precious man and made provision for his recovery (Acts 4:27-28,15:18). The instrument was the blood that flowed in the veins of creatures that contains their lives; and He made it sacred (Gen.9:3,6; Lev.17:10-14; Acts 15:28,29). When prematurely
or suddenly spilled, it has ability to speak (Cons. Gen.4:9-10; Deut.19:9-13; 21:1-9; Heb.12:24; Rev.6:9).
Now, it should be noted that sin is the most vicious evil in the universe which can only be placated by the presentation of life (Ezek.18:4,20). Lucifer accommodated it and lost his glorious life (Isa.14:12-15; Ezek.28:14-15). The Lord God warned Adam about it in the garden (Gen.2:16-17) and Satan took advantage of man’s ignorance to subjugate him (Gen.3:4-8; LK.4:6; Rom.6:16).
The efficacy of blood was demonstrated on the eve of the 10th plague in which houses that had the seal of blood were isolated from the pandemic death (Exo.12:18-23, 29-32).
God is holy and abhors sin; and will not relate with people, stained with sin (Exo.19:3-6, 9-13). So then, at the time of handing the law (i.e. Old Covenant), blood was recommended for atonement of sin: it was to cover sin (Ps.32:1-2) pending the time a perfect human life will be available to erase it completely (Heb.9:6-7; Lev.17:11; 1:1-5, 10-11). In other words, this provision for keeping fellowship with God was the divine prescription of continual shedding of animal blood (Exo.30:10; Num.28:3-8; 1Chro.16:40). Yet, animal blood could not make the life of a sinner perfect, as sin can only be permanently contained by the life of the producer or a sinless human substitute (Ezek.18:4; Gen. 2:17).
Again, God’s righteous nature demands justice for all works done (Ps.89:14; Jer.9:23,24; Gal.6:7), so when sin is committed, the reward/wage of death should naturally follow. If sin is not paid for, justice has been denied.
Therefore, it was fore ordained that a perfect Man in the Person of the Lord Jesus will have His blood spilled as the Passover Victim, to perfectly atone for the sins of mankind and recover man to the Maker (Gen.3:15; Exo.12:12-14, 46; Isa.53:10-11; 1Cor.5:7; Rev.13:8). This will be substitutionary death.
At the appointed time, the Son of God paid the ultimate price for restoration of mankind in a most gruesome way, thereby appeasing God (Matt.27:40-50; Isa.53:7-8, 10-13).
Therefore, if anybody (sinner) comes to Him penitent, his or her sins will be washed away (Lk. 23:39-43; Rom.10:10-13). But whosoever neglects this sacrifice of the Lord Jesus will go through an indescribable anguish that will last throughout eternity (2Cor.5:11; Heb.2:1-3; Rev.21:7-8).
The blood of Jesus has been shed to perfectly meet God’s demand for justice; every man has the privilege of embracing that work by faith and securing divine forgiveness (Lk. 15:17-22; Rom. 10:10,13).
