SHARE THIS IF YOU HAVE YOUNGER BROTHERS and SISTERS na nasa 20s-30s
Reshare as a reminder this July 2026.
Pagtingin sa savings after all deductions SINGKWENTA PESOS!
Pero, this is the reality naman. Kahit nga ako, Magna Cum Laude graduate, I started P9,800 per month wayback 2003..
Unless anak ka ng CEO (CHILD OF OWNER) COO level, that is the reality for many pinoys.
Tinanggap ko yan, pero may goal ako back then. Feeling ko, exciting, kasi dami kong energy. 19 years old fresh grad eh.
THIS CAN BE FOR YOU, read below. tyagain mo.
NB: may mga expletives dito. If sensitive ka, don't read. Pero get ready, the real world challenges can brainfu*k you kung dito pa lang mahina ka na.
******************************************************************
1. Galingan mo sa trabaho in a way na ramdam ng boss mo.
Hindi yung tahimik ka lang na masipag.
Be the guy na kapag may problema, ikaw ang tinatawag.
Be visible. Be dependable. Make yourself hard to replace.
Learn something na puwedeng pagkakitaan like leadership, sales, tech tools, AI, analytics, communication, active trading, investing.
Nung panahon ko, I learned COPC, Six Sigma, Designing Adult Learning Curriculum.
Naginvest ako sa mga bigating schools. I also took MBA sa Ateneo Graduate School.
3. Pag nagawa mo na yang first 2, then GO FOR THE ASK.
The "crying baby gets the milk".
Pag ayaw nila, THEN mindfu*k them by LEAVING!
Yan ang ginawa ko. I levelled up my salary by being an external hire.
REMEMBER: Ethos ng corporate to buy talents sa labas.
They alocated budget +20-30% higher than their internal talents kasi iniisip nila that their internal talent pool doesnt posses yet the needs of their business.

Ang goal is to make yourself indispensable.
TANDAAN, walang tutulong sayo.
WALA! IKAW LANG. SARILI MO LANG.
Pag ginalingan mo, pwede kang magka mentor.
Yung taong i-groom ka bilang kapalit nila. "birds of the same feather, flocks together" ika-nga.
Pero mentoring is 1 hour a week, madalas, 2x a month lang.
Lahat ng tao may challenges kahit mentor mo. It is still going to be you at the end of the day.
Wag kang pa-victim mindset.
Ang GROWTH kasi pwedeng vertical or horizontal/diagonal.
You can get new skills without leaving your current job.
That is horizontal.
Ito ang ginawa ko wayback 2016.
I didn't leave corporate. Instead, nagipon ako, I made it a point na di ako aalis ng corporate to take a leap of faith unless may emergency funds ako kaya akong buhayin at pamilya ko at least 36 months.
Nag bida-bida ako.
I volunteered on projects I dont know.
Sa field na ko nag-aral. Nag tanong, Naghanap ng mentor.
I remember launching a side-project back then to create a hotline for covid affected employees to the point of hiring nurse/agents at the end of the line, designing the hotline, etc.
I gave me perspectives.
Nung meron na kong "money to burn" in trading at leadership skills to be able to manage my own table, dun na ako nag decide.
