Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ Middle East Diocese Abu Dhabi Chapter Holds First Flores De Mayo Celebration
The Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ Middle East Diocese Abu Dhabi Chapter successfully held its First Flores De Mayo Celebration, a meaningful and spiritual gathering honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary through faith, devotion, and tradition.
The program was gracefully hosted by the PTSC President, Mr. Garry Louie De Guzman, who warmly welcomed everyone and guided the flow of the celebration.
The event formally began with an Opening Prayer led by Rev. Mtr. Julfren H. P***e, asking for guidance, blessings, and unity for all attendees and participants. This was followed by the Opening Remarks delivered by the Chapter President and Reyna Elena, Mrs. Roxana G. Bermejo, who expressed her gratitude to all who supported and participated in the memorable event.
A spiritual message was also shared by the Chapter Priest, Rev. Mtr. Nataniel D. Bauit, emphasizing the importance of faith, humility, devotion to God, and honoring the Blessed Virgin Mary as an inspiration to all Crusados.
One of the highlights of the celebration was the grand procession of the Queens as they walked gracefully down the aisle, each representing virtues and titles connected to the Flores De Mayo tradition.
Leading the procession was Reyna Fe, holding the Bible symbolizing faith, portrayed by Mrs. Marife S. Rico. She was followed by Reyna Esperanza, holding the anchor symbolizing hope, portrayed by Ms. Jeaniefer Ramirez. Next was Reyna Caridad, holding the heart symbolizing charity and love, portrayed by Mrs. Chona S. De Guzman.
Following her was Reyna De La Flores, holding a bouquet of flowers, portrayed by Mrs. Crizelle Joy Marie V. P***e, showcasing the beauty and offering of flowers to the Blessed Mother. Reyna Mystica, portrayed by Ms. Elsa Marinaz, carried white roses symbolizing the love of the Virgin Mary, followed by Reyna Delos Angeles, portrayed by Ms. Rowena Ramirez, holding a candle symbolizing purity and cleanliness.
The procession continued with Reyna Emperatris, portrayed by Ms. Rona Jean R. Vitales, holding a fan symbolizing power and dignity, followed by Reyna De las Estrellas, portrayed by Mrs. Jenelita Samson, holding a star wand symbolizing light and guidance.
Finally, the most honored title, Reyna Elena, symbolizing the mother of Emperor Constantine and known for finding the True Cross of Jesus Christ, was beautifully portrayed by Mrs. Roxana G. Bermejo.
The First Flores De Mayo Celebration of the Crusaders of the Divine Church of Christ Middle East Diocese Abu Dhabi Chapter became a successful and inspiring event filled with faith, unity, and devotion. It served as a reminder of the importance of preserving Christian traditions while strengthening the spiritual bond among members of the community.
The chapter extends its heartfelt gratitude to all participants, organizers, families, and supporters who contributed to the success of this blessed celebration.
The celebration also proved that a program does not need to be extravagant or expensive to become meaningful and successful. What matters most is that all members actively participated and dedicated their hearts and minds for the glory of our Holy Spirit, Apo Mons. Dr. Rufino S. Magliba.
